In 2001, the Handy Paint Pail was created in a traditional Do-It-Yourself fashion. Mark Bergman was painting his house using a regular "coffee can" as a paint container. When his hand grew tired, he fashioned a strap out of duct tape, giving birth to the Handy Paint Pail. This multi-purpose pail features a built-in bracket, magnetic brush holder, roller grid, and tool and rag holder, making it ideal for any project, whether on a ladder or off.

In 2008, Bercom made enhancements to their existing products and expanded their range, starting with the color of the pails. They believed that if they encouraged customers to frequently change colors, why shouldn't they do the same? After producing gray pails for five years, Bercom switched to a vibrant red color. The Pro Series Paint Pail was also lightened in weight, reduced in price, and rebranded as the Handy Roller Pail. Customer requests for a ladder attachment led to the development of the Handy Ladder Hook, which secures the Roller Pail or a standard paint can to any ladder.

The Handy Paint Cup, launched in 2008, was a standout new product from Bercom. Although it lacks some features of the original Handy Paint Pail, this disposable cup holds up to a pint of paint and has a built-in magnet, perfect for trim work and craft projects. Expect more innovative products from Bercom in the future.

Promoting easy cleanup and quick color changes with minimal mess, these liners can hold up to a quart of paint or stain.
